I know how to do origami! It's really fun. So far I've memorized how to make swans, envelopes, and boxes. One day I decided to make origami swans, and when I say "make" I really mean it! I 1) cut, 2) colored, and 3) creased. Talk about the three Cs!
Alas, I did not have a picture of the first stage! (cut). But I do have two of coloring!
This is my flock of swans. It's all finished! (For now)! I will make more! I will never be defeated!
p.s. Can you think of any names for these swans? They are all girls. Hey! Don't ask me!!!! Most of my animals are boys!!!!!!!!!!
I love the swans. How about alphabetical? And edible. Apple Annie, Banana Betty, Carrot Carol, Something-that- begins-with-D Denise, Eggy Emily, Fennel Franny....that's all I got. You get the picture.
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty. I have not made origami in a really long time.
ReplyDeleteYou will have to make enough swans to conquer the army of origami frogs I am creating to swoop into China and take you and Phoenix into captivity. In history books, they will call it the origami wars.
ReplyDeleteI love your swans. They are so lovely. I can't think of any names though. Skunky? Salmonilla, Screamie, Strictnine, Sweatie. (Not sweetie.) What do you think?

DeleteMy army of swans has multiplied!!!!! It now contains a general, a lot of soldiers, two nurses, and a drummer boy (and some spies that I should not tell you about in case your frogs become watchful.)
DeleteDumpling Denise!
ReplyDeleteFor the big one how about Odette? The blue one in the back could be Bella? The green one can be Patty like St. Patrick's day. Pinkie for the pink and orange one? Ella for the other pink one. And for the blue and yellow one Ellie.
